Abhishek has over 16 years of experience in handling high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters, both in India and internationally. As the head of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, he advises multinational corporations, leading shipping and trading companies, oil & gas operators, insurers, and logistics majors. He is frequently instructed by leading international law firms and International Group P&I Clubs to represent their clients and Members before Indian courts, tribunals and arbitral forums.

A graduate of Tulane Law School, New Orleans (LL.M. in Admiralty Law), Abhishek has a strong focus on maritime, offshore, and commodity disputes. He also acts as defense counsel in white-collar crime prosecutions, representing senior bureaucrats, HNI’s, and corporates. Recognised for his expertise, he has been appointed as a Senior Panel Counsel by the Ministry of Law and Justice (Government of India). Earlier in his career, he was also associated with an American policy think-tank engaged in international legal framework for prosecution of pirates.
